Manmul Haque (50), a devoted and honest journalist from Koyakuchi, died in Barpeta. This afternoon, Haq suffered a sudden stroke at his home and his family members admitted him to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College, Barpeta. He was referred to Guwahati Medical College for advanced treatment as he did not make any progress in health in the medical college. But unfortunately he breathed his last on the way to GMC. The entire kayakushi is in mourning over this news. The Indian Journalist Association Barpeta district unit mourns the death of journalist Manmul Haque. Indian Journalist Association expresses its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. District President Abdul Jalil, District Executive President Azizul Haque, District General Secretary Manjit Das, District Secretary Sheikh Rahmatullah said that Manmul Haque's death is a major loss for the journalism world and the organization in the district. He had been working as a local journalist for News 30, Dainin Barta, Daily Parikrama, Doornir Darpan Daily Paper as well as web portals since 2014. At the time of his death, Manmul Haq lost his wife, two sons, a daughter and several relatives. Various organizations have mourned his death and wished him a speedy recovery.
